New technologies as a solution to simplify administrative procedures

The administrative procedures are seen as a waste of time or an obstacle course by more than one in two French, reveals a study OpinionWay Good Technology for Wednesday, November 12. In their view, the new technologies could simplify your life. September ten French believe smartphones and tablets as a means of saving time.
Today, 85% of French people have already made paperwork from their computer, especially seniors (84%). The declaration and payment of taxes as necessary to achieve the most logical line (62%), obtaining certain parts of civil status (55%). Some are even ahead and have used their touch pad (9%) or smartphone (7%) to perform administrative tasks.
But according to the French, the French government could go much further dematerializing formalities removal (53%), balance inquiries points driving license (52%) or demand Certificate of Registration (51%). New technologies truly appear as the solution to accelerate the processing time, replacing forms to fill (77%). Public officials may also be more reactive, say 72% of respondents.
Note that the average French spend each month 1:50 to administrative procedures.
The study was conducted among 1,006 people from a representative sample of the French population aged 18 and over, interviewed on 8 and 9 October 2014.
