A scroll 15 centuries decrypted with new … – euronews

45 years after the discovery of a parchment near the Dead Sea, a team of archaeologists managed to decipher the Hebrew text 1500 years old with new technologies. The fragment of seven centimeters long, that looks like a piece of coal, contains the first eight verses of Leviticus in the Bible.
