New technologies for more safety on the road
driving assistance systems are becoming increasingly important in road safety. But not easy to navigate. To see more clearly, the ETA and EPS have made the point.
Security involuntary lane departure warning, collision avoidance system, remote control or fatigue detector, these modern driving aids allow prevent many accidents. More and more vehicles are equipped, and their manufacturers do claim in their advertising. But these devices do not have the same security value.
How to choose your car and its equipment is essential for security, say in a joint statement Tuesday the Transport and Environment Association (ATE) and the Accident Prevention Bureau (EPS). The two organizations have identified the various driver assistance systems and car models so equipped.
