next twenty years, it will probably work on the Moon. It might have been done before but in times of crisis budgets do not always allow such follies.
Starting tomorrow, a conference will be organized about it in Washington. During three days the biggest experts in the field will explore the feasibility and usefulness of a future conquest of the red planet.
These experts, Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the Moon, but also the director of NASA, Charles Bolden.
“Going to Mars requires no miracles but money and a program to meet the technological challenges and engineering” recently told the AFP Scott Hubbard, former head of the Mars exploration program at Nasa.
Going to Mars, why? What are the risks and what are the consequences for astronauts? The experts attempt to answer these questions and many others by focusing particularly on the risks of cosmic radiation on the body.
