On Saturday, a group of passionate new technologies has officially launched the “Women In Tech Madagascar.” As the name suggests, “is an association that aims to integrate more women particularly in the field of new technologies,” says one of the Facebook page WITM.
Madagascar, as everywhere in the world, the place of women in the technology sector is still very low. This sector is dominated by men. Such an initiative could reverse the trend. Women in Tech made its first public appearance at the ION Network show in June. The official launch of this movement, Tanjomba last Saturday, only confirms the commitments of those passionate for the development of ICT sector in Madagascar.
