New MacBook Pro Retina: Haswell and price reductions - Clubic

Immediately after the announcement of the availability of free and Mavericks, it was the turn of Phil Schiller on stage to present the new MacBook Pro with Retina displays.

A little over a year after launching the first generation, and a few months after launching the MacBook Air Haswell processors, Apple announced as expected the second generation MacBook Pro with Retina displays.

The main novelty is of course the adoption of Intel Haswell platform. By embedding the Intel Core fourth and latest generation processors, they gain autonomy as expected, but the 13-inch model also loses weight and thickness.

Retina MacBook Pro 13-inch: lighter and thinner but more autonomous

The MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina now weighs 1.57 kg for 1.8 cm thick. It has a Core i5 dual heart processor incorporating a GPU Graphics Iris, 90% more efficient than the previous GPU.
