CGG Geosoftware unveils new technologies of major scope
Covering all of its software, these innovations reduce the risks associated with the exploration and production
Paris, France – 1 June 2015
CGG announces today the launch of major new versions of all reservoir characterization software line Geosoftware products. Jason 9.0, Hampson-Russell HRS Insight Earth 3.0 and 10.0 have been developed to incorporate the latest technological innovations and iterative processes of processing and imaging, to be easily used by many computer platforms and thus promote better understanding and characterization basement by oil and gas companies.
geoscience software users should respond to the challenges of exploration and production of increasingly complex all gradually integrating more software applications and sequences. The new features of software Geosoftware thus offer advanced technologies, integrated and easy to use to effectively address these issues and bring new perspectives that help reduce the risks associated with the exploration and production.
Since the dip, the anisotropic inversion, stochastic inversion and rock physics at the pore pressure, magnetic resonance imaging and the study of geological formations, new technologies Geosoftware to quickly deliver answers for conventional and unconventional reservoirs. Their integration with software platforms developed by third parties and with the iterative process Geosoftware and allows users to better characterize the prospects and understand the reservoir properties and their evolution throughout the life of the field.
Sophie Zurquiyah, Senior Executive Vice President Division of Geology, Geophysics & amp; Tank (GGR) CGG, said: “We are continuing our efforts to meet the needs of our customers by offering new technology, easy to use and seamlessly deploy in their work processes and their software platform. The launch coordinated these new versions of our software is an important step for CGG Geosoftware. HRS 10.0, 9.0 and Jason Insight Earth 3.0 will allow to significantly improve the ability of our customers to precisely characterize the subsurface and take full advantage of existing software environments. Combined with the expertise of GeoConsulting and excellence of our Subsurface Imaging, new versions of software Geosoftware allow CGG to position itself as a supplier and leading provider of integrated geoscience solutions to reduce the risks and costs associated with exploration, development and production. “
