Competition Launched “New technologies for life … – Vietnam +

Monday in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO ) launched the contest “New technologies for everyday life.”

This contest is intended to encourage innovation widely
 applicable and low cost to meet the practical needs of the
 life.

The organizing committee announced that will be presented
 a first prize worth 100 million dong, a second of
 50 million VND, a third the price of 30 million dong, with
 medals and certificates of WIPO. There will be 12 prizes of
 consolation for the technical solutions chosen, each amounting
 10 million dong in addition to a certificate of WIPO.

Vietnamese citizens residing in Vietnam of all ages without
 regardless of ethnic origin, religion, profession, and who have
 not participated in the competition in 2013, may be a candidate.

The ceremony awards will take place in late November, the
 Applications to be submitted from July 30 to September 30, 2014

According to Mr. Tran Van Tung, Vice Minister of Science and Technology,
 the purpose of this competition in 2014 is to encourage the patenting and
 the development of computer technologies with broad
 application in daily life and in the development
