It is important for the Swiss economy, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) grow in this sector, said Ernst & amp; Young (EY) in the results of a survey released Monday. 65% of surveyed companies employing between 30 and 2,000 employees, digital technologies play only a marginal role, if any.
Among the companies with a turnover exceeding 100 million francs, scanning is integrated into the business model. If the subject has no importance for companies active in construction or trade, it occupies a prominent place among service providers and life sciences companies.

The survey shows that many companies underestimate the fourth industrial revolution, notes Bruno Chiomento, Ernst & amp boss; Basel Young said in the statement. Seven percent of them cite only a lack of money, staff or knowledge to explain their lack of commitment in the field.
